Purpose of our website

Our web pages serve for information purposes

Furthermore we offer possibilities to get in contact with us digitally or to purchase services or products directly on our pages.

European data protection regulation DSGVO

Data storage without explicit consent

The European Data Protection Regulation, which comes into force on 25 May 2018, strengthens the right of consumers to prevent the unwanted use of personal data.

This serves in particular to protect against annoying calls, SPAM, unwanted advertising and the unauthorised disclosure of personal data to third parties.

However, this justified and sensible reorganisation of the data protection laws does not call into question the lawful processing of data without consent.

The possibilities of interaction made available on our web pages are basically intended for general information, business initiation with interested parties or existing business partners or the provision of contractual services for existing business partners.

Data storage with explicit consent

Should situations arise on our websites or in business transactions in which the constellation requires the storage of personal data that is particularly worthy of protection, we will point out the scope and purpose of the data in a transparent manner.

The person concerned is free to decide at any time whether or not to give his or her consent. If the person concerned consents to the storage, he or she can revoke the storage at any time if this does not violate the law or the basic purpose of the agreed data use.

Non Disclosure Agreement

As a matter of principle, we do not pass on any data, business secrets or information not publicly available to third parties.

Electronic data storage

General

When you visit our website, basic digital data is generated. This is the basis of the Internet and cannot be avoided.

Even though there is much talk on the Internet about data misuse and monitoring, the purpose of data storage on our websites is limited to the functions that are necessary to fulfill the purpose of the website.

IP addresses

On our web servers and the connected Google Analytics tools the IP address transmitted by you or your internet provider is stored.

When you navigate on our websites, the course of your navigation is stored in the log files of the analysis tools. The following data are logged in this way:

    time at time of access
  • quantity of the transmitted data in Byte
  • Used operating system

  • Used IP address

The data collected is only used for statistical analysis and to improve the website.

However, the website operator reserves the right to check the server log files subsequently if there are concrete indications of illegal use.

When you fill out a form and send data to us, the corresponding IP address is stored on the web server and the data you send is stored in our CRM system.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called session cookies to store small text information on your computer via the web browser if this should be necessary to carry out the action you have selected.

This is the case when you use online courses, place orders, submit forms or leave comments on blog articles. Session cookies are usually only used for the duration of your session and you can delete cookies in your browser at any time.

You can block cookies in your browser, in which case some functions on our websites may no longer function as expected.

Deactivate cookies & Tracking

Disabling cookies and website analysis may result in limited usability and display of our website.

In particular, the function of forms or interactive elements may fail.

We assume no liability and no support for unexpected behavior on our websites if you have deactivated cookies and tracking.

If you are interested, you can see in detail how we use cookies and tracking in our privacy policy.

Here you can find instructions on how to disable cookies and tracking for popular browsers: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera, Safari.

Legal right of objection

If you generally do not want web pages to collect analysis information about you, you can generally activate the “Do not Track” setting in your browser. These settings then apply not only to our websites, but generally to all websites you visit that interpret this data protection regulation correctly.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Google Analytics sets so-called website tracking cookies, which can be stored on your computer via your browser as described above.

We have configured Google Analytics (in accordance with the European Data Protection Regulation DSGVO) in such a way that no personal data can be collected.

If you want to know more about Google’s compliance with the European Data Protection Regulation, you can find here the relevant information.

Videos & external links

We have linked on our websites partly to videos in external sources like Youtube, Channel9, Vimeo.

In our blogs we have partly linked to sources of authors on other blogs or social media.

Whenever you click on a link that leads to a source outside of our own website, another web server is called up for technical reasons. This also transfers the data of your web browser to another provider.

In these cases, the privacy policy of the provider on whose servers the linked content is stored will apply.

Data storage from e-mail, website forms and surveys

If you send us data via e-mail, website forms or surveys, we store this data in our CRM system.

This is necessary in order to answer your request and to be able to process a resulting business relationship.

Data stored with us will not be passed on to third parties, unless there are legal requirements that make this necessary.

The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data.

Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail) is collected, this is only done within the scope of a service selected by you (e.g. in a contact enquiry form, newsletter subscription, etc.) and on a voluntary basis.

Collected personal data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.

Our websites generally use encrypted data transmission, however, we would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet can have security gaps (e.g. when communicating by e-mail). A complete end-to-end protection of your data against access by third parties is not possible.
